Apache is an open source HTTP web server application.

 

Cassandra is a scalable and fault-tolerant NoSQL database system.

ElasticSearch is an open-source search server, based on the Lucene search library. It runs in a Java virtual machine on top of a number of operating systems.

Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.

MongoDB is an open source, NoSQL, document-oriented database system.

MySQL is a relational database management system that runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

Nginx is an open source HTTP server and reverse proxy, as well as an IMAP/POP3 proxy server.

PostgreSQL is an object-relational database management system.

RabbitMQ is an open source, complete and highly reliable enterprise messaging system based on the AMQP standard.

Riak is an open source, distributed database. It offers high availability, fault tolerance, operational simplicity, and scalability.

Tomcat is an open source software implementation of the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technologies.

Varnish is an open source web cache accelerator.

 
CouchDB is an open-source NoSQL database that uses JSON to store data. It uses JavaScript as its query language using MapReduce, and HTTP for an API.

 
Kafka is an open source publish-subscribe messaging system.

 
HBase is an open-source, non-relational, distributed big data store .
