Configuring SNS for notifications

Our support for SNS allows you to push policy alerts to your topic(s). 

You must configure your topic in AWS before you can configure it in Stackdriver. 

From AWS


1. Go to https://console.aws.amazon.com/sns/home

2. Select your SNS topic, then click All Topic Actions at the top of the page. 



3. Under Publishers, select Only These AWS Users and enter 152022173758. Click Update Policy. 



4. Copy the Topic ARN.



**Ensure that you have an SQS queue subscribed to your topic in order to properly receive messages. 

From Stackdriver


1. Head to https://app.stackdriver.com/settings/notifications/sns (or Account>>Account Settings>>Notifications>>SNS)

2. Click the  button. 

3. Paste your Topic ARN and click Test Connection. You should see "Test notification sent!" in blue letters.
